In search of the story of the Dutch costume designer Jean Botter
who worked for the last sultan of Turkey at the beginning of the 20th century.
During our research period in Istanbul we worked in the old atelier of Jean Botter
on a handmade 501 jeans, the favourite piece of clothing of curator Guus Beumer.
